Deer Hunting in the Gila National Forest

Mule Deer

Our Mule Deer hunts take place in units 2b, 2c, 16, 22 and 23. Our success rates on mule deer are 80% on bucks scoring 150”-190”. These units all have potential for 190”-200”+ bucks. Extensive glassing and putting yourself in areas that produce giant bucks will increase your odds in harvesting a 180” buck or better.

Coues Deer

Our Coues deer hunts take place in Units 16, 22 and 23 and are prime units to harvest 100”-125” bucks. Our success rates on these hunts are 80%. We have seen bucks in these units pushing the 130” mark so with a lot of extensive glassing you could harvest a buck of a lifetime.
